Design of artifacts and development of theoretical grounding of the Reconstrained Design Group. The Reconstrained Design Group won the II International Cultural Innovation prize awarded by the CCCB in Barcelona. We exhibited our work in the museum.

Initially we designed and built a series of gravity batteries, gearbox mechanisms hooked to motors that would generate electricity when a heavy weight was dropped.
Later we developed product-like objects like a gravity lamp. I mainly focused on the design and construction of a vertical gravity powered turntable (VERP). A speaker was encased within two heavy led-infused semi-spheres that were tied to a pulley system that fed an electrical generator. The energy generated by the falling concrete powered the vertical record player.
