Knittstruments


Project in close collaboration with Konstantia Koulidou and Robb Mitchell trying to bridge the gap between musician and crafts(wo)man through knitting.


We developed the Kraftwork and Knitstruments, musical devices that would translate the movement of a knitters knitting into that of a musical melody. We organized workshops, two concerts and finally wrote two papers.
